Louis Denault is the winemaker behind VIGNOBLE STE-PÉTRONILLE, an Île d’Orléans–based winery just east of Quebec City.
Louis acquired the estate in 2003 with his wife Nathalie and their three children. Not long afterward, the couple quit their jobs (Louis, a general contractor, and Nathalie, an accountant) to dive head-first into this exciting new adventure. Thus was born VIGNOBLE STE-PÉTRONILLE.
As time passed, their children also embraced this love of winemaking and now actively contribute to the family business. Year after year, the Denault family works to produce high-quality wines that showcase the estate’s uniquely rich terroir. They enjoy welcoming tourists to the vineyard and sharing their passion with them.
