STRENGTH IN NUMBERS
35 years ago, a group of winemakers decided to unite to defend the interests of winemakers in order to advance our beautiful industry. The Association des vignerons du Québec was officially created in 1987 — and was renamed Conseil des vins du Québec (CVQ) in 2018.
Today, the CVQ brings together nearly 150 members (including 107 vineyards) who combine their efforts and collective experience to grow and promote Quebec’s viticulture industry – one vintage at a time!
OUR ROLE
Defend the interests of winegrowers and ensure the development of our sector by advancing issues concerning, among other things, the prosperity of producers, marketing, distribution, as well as the development of research and knowledge.
WORKING COMMITTEES IN FULL ACTION!
To advance the many files, the association has set up several working committees, all composed of winegrowers and partners in our industry.
Its mission: to promote the vineyards and their products, and thereby promote the Quebec wine industry.
Its mission: to influence the prioritization of various research projects within different organizations.
Its mission: the committee plays a leading role in the implementation of several projects, including strategic planning.
Its mission: to manage distribution networks – such as the SAQ and grocery stores – and ensure that our orientations come to life.
Its mission: to set up development projects with the various Canadian provinces.
His mission: responsible for relations, integration and member satisfaction.
