The CVQ is an interprofessional association open to all Quebec winegrowers, as well as to the various partners of the Quebec wine industry.

Our role
Defend the interests of winegrowers and ensure the development of our sector by advancing issues relating, among other things, to the prosperity of producers, marketing, distribution, as well as the development of research and knowledge. How do we achieve that? By demonstrating the reality and needs of winegrowers to government, regulatory and commercial authorities.

Winemakers from all over Quebec; the smallest as well as the largest, beginners as well as the most experienced.
The CVQ is also made up of several partners (interprofessional members) who are committed to the development of Quebec’s vineyards.

- Be a winemaker (beginner or experienced, small or large vineyard)
- Own 1 hectare of wine grape vines
- Own 2500 vines

- Right to vote at general meetings
- Eligible for a director position on the Board
- Opportunity to sit on one of the working committees (and be actively involved in the files)
How much
Cost
Annual membership fee: starting at $500.00*
- Calculated according to the previous year’s production, as follows:
- $12.00 per tonne of grapes harvested
- $0.05 per litre of processed wine

- Be part of a large network of producers of all sizes, distributors, suppliers and other partners in the field.
- Access a private newsgroup to ask questions and share with other members on an ongoing basis.
- Participate in virtual trainings and conferences in the presence of other Quebec winemakers.
- Attend several events throughout the year (Annual General Meeting, Summer Day, Tasting Evening, etc.).
- Stay informed of industry news and issues, including a monthly newsletter.
- Be represented by the CVQ and participate in the defense of the interests of winegrowers, in particular through the working committees.
- Get visibility for your vineyard, especially via vins du Québec’s website and social networks.
- Get privileged access to research results in vitiviniculture in Quebec, and even have the opportunity to take part.

- See your contribution to Éduc’alcool being assumed by the CVQ on behalf of all producers (winemakers).
