Louis Thomas is the vintner and owner of VIGNOBLE DOMAINE DU FLEUVE, founded in 2007 and located in Varennes, in the Montérégie region. Louis has a hand in every aspect of the business: on any given day, he can be found in the fields, in the winery, in the office or some other part of the vineyard.

Louis learned to make wine from his oenologist and agronomist, his colleagues and the internet. He also took two winemaking courses from the Institut de technologie agroalimentaire (ITA).

His short-term goal is to further develop the four hectares he has already planted with viniferas and cold-hardy varieties. He also has longer-term expansion plans.
