Véronique Hupin is the co-owner of Farnham-based VIGNOBLE LES PERVENCHES in the Eastern Townships.
At the tender age of 26, Véronique embarked on this adventure with her husband, Michael Marler. These days, the HEC Montréal MBA alumna and young mother handles the winery’s finances and marketing.
Although VIGNOBLE LES PERVENCHES has been certified organic since 2006, the shift was not commercially motivated per se. Véronique explains, “As a mother, I really valued being able to control every aspect of our vineyard’s operations.” It was important for her to provide her children, the next generation of winemakers, with a healthy, sustainable work environment.
