Vignoble Têtes au vent
Long live free wine.
It’s in Sainte-Marie-Salomé, in Lanaudière, that Pierre Hébert, aspiring entrepreneur, decided to establish his vineyard. The first vintages will be released in 2023, 10 years after the purchase of his land where he cultivates 12,000 vines, all while working as a full-time IT consultant. Over two hectares, European grape varieties such as Chardonnay, Riesling, or Pinot Noir intersect with French hybrids (Vidal and Seyval Blanc) and American varieties (Frontenac, Petite Pearl, and Marquette). Working in harmony with nature, the Neo-vintner has only one philosophy: to have good grapes in the field to make good wines! It’s necessary because his natural wines contain only grapes. Nothing else! Here, the wines are free to express the terroir, the climate, and the year the grapes have experienced, facing the wind!
