Vignoble La Vallée des Nuages :
Animals, Weddings, and Wine
Manon Therrien and Claude Tardif dreamed of a vineyard. They established theirs in Danville, in the Eastern Townships. On their extensive land, 4.5 hectares are dedicated to cultivating 12,000 vine plants, all American hybrids (Frontenac Noir, Blanc, Gris, Marquette, Petite Pearl). With these grapes, they primarily produce red wines. On the remaining part of their land, they raise animals: rabbits, ducks, geese, quails, partridges, chickens, pigs, calves, and cows.
While waiting for the grapes to be ready for winemaking, they developed an events component, which is now highly sought after. The rustic table showcases products grown or raised on the estate and is filled with locally processed goods. The stunning site hosts various events every year, including many weddings and family gatherings.
