Vignoble D’Oka
For the Love of Red Wine!
Situated on a hillside in the Lower Laurentians, in the wine region of Deux-Montagnes, Vignoble d’Oka primarily produces red wines, but also whites and rosés. The initial 3,000 vines, planted with Sabrevois and Frontenac Noir in 2005, led to the creation of their flagship blend, the Mystère Rouge, aged in French oak barrels.
Today, the vineyard of Michel Levac and Diane Normandin boasts nearly 12,000 vines, all of hybrid varieties such as St-Pépin, Louise Swenson, Marquette, and Ste-Croix. Spread across a 4-hectare estate, the rocky, permeable soil filled with marine sediments provides an ideal environment for grape cultivation.
