Vignoble Bouche-Art

Alain Lavoie brought his vineyard project to life in 2000 on Île Bouchard, just a few kilometers from Montreal, on a picturesque site dominated by a stone house dating back to 1730. The terroir, mostly composed of clay and silt soils, benefits from an exceptional maritime microclimate with over 110 days of sunshine per year, ideal for growing hardy grape varieties suited to our winter climate.

Driven by a passion for wine and respect for the environment, Alain is committed to sharing the island’s natural and historical treasures. During your visit, you can explore the vineyard and the winery, learn more about the estate’s three-century-old history, and enjoy activities on the Verchères Islands during a boat excursion. The entire site boasts rich biodiversity, which can be admired either on a leisurely walk or during a guided tour, offering a complete wine tourism experience that blends nature, heritage, and wine.
