Vignoble Ste-Angélique: the taste of the terroir
In 2008, Vignoble Ste-Angélique took root in the fertile and clayey lands of Papineauville, in the Outaouais region. Once used to grow hay, the land, which has belonged to the Carrières for a few generations, now hosts vines on more than two hectares. Grown without herbicide, insecticide or systemic fungicide, the 9,000 vines, all grape varieties adapted to Quebec’s northern climate, produce the vineyard’s 8 wines, including the Clays – Red, Black and White range.
In the cellar as in the field, the intervention is minimal, thus allowing to express the terroir and all the aromas of the fruit. The result: authentic and totally Quebec wines!
