Domaine Inselberg : an enchanting site in the heart of Rougemont
On the southern slope of Mount Rougemont, in the municipality of the same name, lies an enchanting site where visitors can enjoy wine tastings on the lovely terrace in summer or relax at the wine bar in winter, in the beautiful contemporary building adjacent to the vineyard. Domaine Inselberg offers a complete agritourism experience for Quebec wine enthusiasts year-round.
This name, derived from the German word inselberg (« insel », île et « berg », montagne) , refers to an isolated hill rising from flat plains, like the Montérégiennes, those distinctive hills that shape the Rougemont landscape.
By adopting this name, the Robert family aims to highlight the strength and uniqueness of Mount Rougemont, in line with their vision of producing iconic wines and ciders, deeply rooted in Quebec’s terroir.
