Vignoble La Bonté DiVigne
In the same spirit as the pioneers who founded Quebec’s first vineyards, La Bonté DiVigne Vineyard has taken on a bold challenge: cultivating vines in the heart of Lac Saint-Jean, a northern region where viticulture was almost nonexistent. Established on a one-hectare plot since 2004, this vineyard now boasts 4,000 plants from a dozen carefully selected grape varieties known for their ability to withstand harsh winters. Additionally, two vitis vinifera varieties — Merlot and Pinot Noir — are grown in greenhouses.
Recently, the vineyard changed ownership. Driven by the same passion and respect for the land, the new owners are enthusiastically continuing the work begun by their predecessors. They are committed to expanding and refining the production of quality wines while preserving the authenticity and spirit that have made the estate renowned.
Each wine — white, red, rosé, or fortified — reflects the unique personality of this boreal terroir. Through rigorous work, environmentally friendly practices, and a passion for craftsmanship, La Bonté DiVigne Vineyard showcases the full viticultural potential of Lac Saint-Jean, offering authentic wines with distinctly northern flavors.
