You will be charmed by the wines of the Côte de Champlain vineyard
Established in 2007 in St-Théodore-d´Acton, the Côte de Champlain vineyard has 6 hectares of vines.
The cultivars are Marquette, Frontenac Noir, Blanc et Gris, Petite Perle, Vidal and Seyval Blanc et Noir. The choice of grape varieties was made according to the quality of the grapes’ vinification.
The limestone soil gives an exceptional taste to the wine, more or less 4 feet deep are shells strata that date from the ancient Champlain Sea. This composition gives the soil a high limestone content, an ideal characteristic for the production of grapes intended for winemaking.
