Le Château de la Grange :
It is on the Cordon Road in Varennes, Montérégie, that Fernand Gauthier and Manon Savard decided, in 2005, to establish their vineyard. After clearing a portion of the land and building the estate, 15,000 plants of Frontenac (White, Gray, Red), Sabrevois, Saint-Pépin, and Louise Swanson were planted. With these grape varieties, Château de la Grange produces dry wines with a nice roundness on the palate, which can be tasted at the vineyard’s open daily boutique. The beautiful vineyard hall is also available for rent for events such as weddings or corporate meetings.
