The Vignoble du Marathonien was born in May 1990 when Line and Jean Joly planted their first vine as a symbol of their passion for viticulture and their love of wine.
The vineyard covers an area of 2.5 hectares with its 10,000 vine plants aged between 20 and 29 years on average. We produce white, rosé, red, and sweet wines exclusively. The majority of the plants are French hybrids such as Seyval, GM318, and Vidal. In terms of red wines, the Maréchal Foch variety has adapted very well to the Quebec climate. Our mature Merlot and Cabernet Franc vines yield good results, and the Pinot Gris establishes itself very well.
